Collection and storage of personal data and the type and purpose of its use

a) When visiting the website

When you access our website, your browser automatically sends information to our website’s server. This information is temporarily stored in a log file. The following information is collected automatically and stored until it is automatically deleted:

IP address of the requesting computer, date and time of access, name and URL of the accessed file, website from which access was made (referrer URL), browser used and, if applicable, your computer’s operating system and the name of your internet service provider.

We process this data for the following purposes:
Ensuring a smooth connection to the website, Ensuring a user-friendly experience on our website, Evaluating system security and stability, and for other administrative purposes.

The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from the data collection purposes listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the collected data to draw conclusions about your identity.

b) When using our contact form

If you have any questions, you can contact us using the form provided on our website. A valid email address is required so we know who is contacting us and can respond. Providing additional information is optional.

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is based on your freely given consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a of the GDPR.

The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after your inquiry has been processed.

Sharing of data

Your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.

Analysis tools

The tracking measures we use are carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We use these tracking measures to ensure the needs-based design and continuous optimization of our website. We also use them to statistically record website usage and evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our services for you. These interests are considered legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

Integration of third-party services and content

It is possible that third-party content, such as YouTube videos, Google Maps, RSS feeds, or graphics from other websites, may be embedded. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) are aware of the users’ IP addresses, because without the IP address, they could not send the content to the respective user’s browser. In particular, you can request information about the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data if they were not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and, where applicable, meaningful information about the logic involved.

Pursuant to Article 16 GDPR, you have the right to request the immediate rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you or the completion of incomplete personal data stored by us;

pursuant to Article 17 GDPR, you have the right to request the erasure of personal data concerning you stored by us, unless processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;

pursuant to Article 18 GDPR, you have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data where the accuracy of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful but you oppose its erasure, we no longer need the data but you require it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or you have objected to processing pursuant to Article 21 GDPR;

In accordance with Article 20 of the GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, or to request its transmission to another controller;
in accordance with Article 7(3) of the GDPR, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Right to object

If your personal data is processed based on legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Article 21 GDPR, provided there are grounds relating to your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without requiring you to specify a particular situation.

Data security

During your visit to our website, we use the widely used SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. This is typically 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can recognize whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed padlock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

Furthermore, we employ appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties.
