Microfluidics

Sammelfoto von div. Chips?

Microfluidic chips are used to precisely transport, mix, separate, encapsulate, sense and analyze tiny volumes of liquid (in the microliter to nanoliter range) in microscopic channels

Typical users are companies in the following sectors:

  • medicine
  • pharmacy
  • cosmetics
  • automotive

Protein identification and quantification

This device features channels and chambers, as well as various inputs and outputs. In the final step, a suitable glass cover is welded onto the chip to make it functional.

Spiral / wave sorter chip

  • accurate and efficient cell / particle sorting
  • in- and outlets as prefered
    • tube tuck connector
    • threats
    • customised shape
  • nozzles and other functional features can be placed individually
  • Multi-layer design possible

Prototypes

This device is a mimicking biodegradation
of hydrocarbon in porous media.

Glass micro-models provide optimal conditions for the chemo-bio-physical
contraints such experiments require. Indeed, glass is chemically inert, thermally sterilisable
and offers best optical characteristics for experiments that are several weeks long.
